I am a qualified physiotherapist based in Diss, on the Norfolk and Suffolk border, where I live with my husband, two children and friendly Springer Spaniel.
I trained at Coventry University and qualified with first class honours in 2006. I worked in a thriving private practice in Cambridgeshire for 3 years, where I really learned the importance of listening to my patients, understanding what they want, and spending time with them to help them achieve their goals.
Following on from this I worked for the NHS for a number of years, while studying for my PhD which I completed in 2013. I have since been working with complex injuries in military personnel for the Ministry of Defence.
Since having my children, and having gained varied experience, I have decided it is time to start my own practice.
My practice isn’t focused on becoming corporate and making lots of money. Fair Green Physiotherapy provides real help to people in the local community of Diss and surrounding areas.
I want to make peoples’ lives better. I want them to achieve their goals, feel fitter, feel healthier, and to achieve things they didn’t think they could. I want to help people get better at their sport, be able to move without pain, spend time with their family and be able to do all the activities they want to do.
Fair Green Physio is based from my home, where you will be warmly welcomed. With a designated clinic room away from the house, you will have the opportunity to discuss whatever needs you have in complete privacy and comfort.
Your first session will include a comprehensive and detailed assessment, where I will ask you more about your injury, and do a physical exam as well. This helps me to make a clear diagnosis of the injury and gain a full understanding of your specific needs. We will then spend some time talking through the results of the assessment, how Fair Green Physio can help and what the best treatment options are in moving forward.
